What We Think
Now I must disclose that I’m a Manchester City supporter, and as such, it was predestined for me, as a Blue, to review the best clone watches. However, allegiances aside, I found myself really liking it. We were only able to see the 40mm steel model and the 42mm gold version, and for me, the 40mm really stood out. What’s particularly notable is how Breitling has paired an exotic meteorite dial—typically reserved for precious metals—with a stainless steel case, making this premium cosmic material more accessible while maintaining the watch’s exclusivity. Putting aside my small wrist size, the 40mm proportions felt just right, especially with the rouleaux bracelet.
That said, I’m more of a fan of subtle details as opposed to the overt—I love that Erling’s signature celebration is on the caseback, but I feel the “EH” initials on the seconds hand feels a little too on the nose for me. However, I can understand the appeal for Haaland’s biggest supporters. Whether or not you’ll become a world-class striker if you get the 1:1 fake watches remains to be seen, but for those avid Erling Haaland fans, I could think of no better way to get excited for the Premier League season.
Objectively, I believe this partnership makes a great deal of sense. It’s a smart move for Breitling to take their collaboration with the world’s best striker to the next level with this collection. For Breitling to align itself with one of soccer’s most talented and marketable players is a wise decision. I believe this collection is a strong way to continue the collaboration, especially given the unique meteorite dial material. With the World Cup approaching in the United States next year, and Norway, led by Haaland, looking likely to qualify for the first time since 1998, I suspect this won’t be the last Haaland collection we see from cheap knock off Breitling watches.
